commenting on some fashion trends around today and how to and how to NOT wear them:

leggings
i think leggings are really cute, but you have to wear them the right way.  for example, please do not wear leggings under bermuda shorts for the sake of everyone with eyesight around you.  they add a little something extra to dresses and skirts, but you're pushing it if you wear them with shorts.  i think leggings that are not black, brown, or have a pattern look terrible.  i have a friend who was wearing blue leggings, and i couldn't talk to her.  i was staring at her legs the whole time.

and last, but not least, the shoes you wear them with.  do not, i repeat DO NOT wear leggings with running shoes or ugly nike's.  they look good with flats, flip flops, and a few sneakers, and thats about it.

i'm so glad i got all that off my chest.  moving onto the next item...

i honestly counted 20 of them walking from drama to my locker.  originality obviously isn't cheap these days...

yes, they are cute, but yes, when you see a hundred of them a day, you want to start seeing other things.
